Prologue (What is this)

The Greatest Story Ever Told is a game in which you, The Master of Lore, present your literary masterpiece.  Bring to life that war in a fantasy land you have been working on for a decade.  Tell the saga of the rad superhero you’ve always dreamed about.  Share your revolutionary screenplay you won’t stop telling your friends about.  Because we know that you, The Master of Lore, know how to spin a good tale, and naturally, everyone must hear it.  But it won’t be that easy.  Your Audience will be filled with a bunch of needy fucks who, if not handled correctly, will ruin your creative vision.
 

The Greatest Story Ever Told is an exercise on narrative control and creative restraint.  In play, The Master of Lore will present scenes, Introduce characters, and move the plot to its perfect conclusion.   The Audience, being the rude self-obsessed people they are, will interject, change, and derail your story.  Play to find out how much creative control you can push into the narrative.
