Preservation
A downloadable game
This game was made for the Minimalist TTRPG Jam 3 hosted by Binary Star Games
Based incredibly loosely on Mobile Frame Zero: Firebrands by Meguey Baker & D. Vincent Baker (a game I have never actually played or read and only know about because of the other games that are loosely based on Firebrands)
It has been 4,829 years since Earth was officially declared dead.
That was when the Twilight Assembly, the last human government within the solar system, loaded the remaining people still living on Earth onto Preservation, a deep space carrier retrofitted with a hypno-stasis core that locked all passengers into a collective hallucination. It has been 4,829 years, your journey was supposed to end long ago and yet you are still adrift. The Twilight Assembly was supposed to activate Preservation’s shift drive, launching the carrier to the nearest colony world in the Andromeda Galaxy. It has been 4,829 years and the hypno-stasis core is starting to fail.
